In our life, we believe that women are usally busier and more stressed than men. They work more hour and join in many roles and always in rushing mode.
Interestingly, the differences in levels of stressful days were due to women experiencing more onsets of “distress episodes” (having stress response triggered), rather than being more likely to continue in a distressed state from one day to the next. Which mean women didn’t hold onto their stress more; they just experienced more episodes of being stressed.
These will lead to some important issues that women need to aware of:
Understand Gender Differences in Stress
If you are feeling that you more stressed than your male partners, it might be because you’re experiencing more stress. Give yourself a pat on the back for handling what you already are, and move confidently to step two.
Reduce and Eleminate what You can
It very common when everyone ask women (especially mothers!) to help with group projects like organizing office birthday parties or running the PTA. These activities also brought amount of stress to women. To maintain a reasonable level of daily stress, women need to get used to the idea of setting priorities and saying no.
Having some Quick Stress Relief
Sometime you feel that you can’t handle your stress any more and it will be exploding, that is the time you should think about quick stress relief. It’s important to have some fast stress relievers in order to reverse your stress response quickly and prevent yourself from entering a state of chronic stress.
Keep doing regular stress-relieving habits
Studies and some findings show that those who do meditate regularly are less reactive to stressors that occur in their lives. You don’t have to meditate, just writing your diary, which also bring you many benefits.
